Mám ich na HT, na ktorom jazdím ľahší terén a asfaltové presuny. Prechádzal som z Continental Cross King 29x2.0". Oproti ním:

+ tichšie resp. nemajú ten "hrkotavý" prejav ako robia pravidelné rozloženie štupľov s väčšími medzerami
+ slušne držia v teréne a keď už strácajú grip, tak to je pozvoľné (nie zrazu / skokovo)
+ nemal som pocit "plávania" a "žuvania" plášťa pri tlakoch, ktoré jazdievam (1,8 až 2.2 bar)
- pocitovo sa mi zdá behúň tvrdší, menej poddajný a o niečo menej "žehlia" malé nerovnosti

They hold the grip well, especially in dry conditions, worse in mud/snow (they are tires for dry use), tubeless installation without problems. If you are heavier, or plan to ride on very rocky terrain, I definitely recommend the trail version. I originally ran Vittoria Barzo 2.25 tubeless front and rear - I changed the rear to this Mezcal and the front is still in good condition after 4500km. I currently have 1500 km on this Mezcal and the tread height is still practically as new. I highly recommend the combination of Vittoria Barzo in the front and Vittoria Mezcal in the back.
Dobre držia grip hlavne v suchých podmienkach, v blate/ snehu horšie (sú to plášte do sucha), nainštalovanie bezdušákov bez problémov. Ak máte vyššiu hmotnosť, prípadne plánujete jazdiť na nich veľmi kamenisté terény, určite odporúčam verziu trail. Pôvodne som jazdil bezdušáky Vittoria Barzo 2.25 vpredu aj vzadu - zadný som menil za tento Mezcal a predný po 4500km stále v dobrom stave. Na tomto Mezcale mám aktuálne 1500km a výška dezénu stále prakticky ako nová. Vrelo odporúčam kombináciu Vittoria Barzo vpredu a Vittoria Mezcal vzadu.

Hľadal som rýchle XC plášte. Mal som už skoro všetky overené značky a modely ale tieto sú zatiaľ najlepšie. Jazdil som galusky a nesklamali ani teraz. Táto značka má u nás menšiu poznateľnosť a slabú podporu predaja.

normally I wear vittoria barzo on both wheels, but now I tried the mezcal on the rear. it's faster in the dry, but when climbing over roots, stones and brutal steps, they slip more than the barzo. I haven't tried it in the wet and in the mud yet, but they are not designed for that anyway.
