Marin Alpine Trail 2

Marin Alpine Trail 2 is an enduro bike for riders who want maximum performance in challenging terrain without compromise. The Series 4 aluminum frame is ready for hard use and thanks to adjustable geometry allows you to adapt the riding characteristics to specific terrain and riding style. The MultiTrac LT suspension platform offers 160 mm of travel and is designed to keep the bike stable and controlled even during aggressive riding over rough terrain.

The suspension is handled by the RockShox ZEB Select+ fork and the RockShox Vivid Air Select+ air shock, which provide sensitive operation and sufficient reserve for large impacts. The bike is compatible with both mullet and 29" wheel configurations, so the rider can choose the characteristics according to their preferences.

The equipment is complemented by the SRAM Eagle 70 drivetrain and SRAM Maven Bronze four-piston brakes, which deliver precise shifting and powerful, well-modulated braking performance. Integrated storage in the downtube increases the bike's practicality, while the UDH hanger and chainstay protection are ready for intense trail use.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
