The TimeShifter was consistently developed for time trials and triathlons. The focus is on robust aerodynamics for various head and shoulder positions, as well as for racing conditions. This is based on extensive CFD analyses, wind tunnel and velodrome tests, as well as validations in the professional peloton.
Development took place in close cooperation with aerodynamics specialist Swiss Side and with the participation of WorldTour athletes. The goal was to develop a helmet that provides reproducible advantages not only under ideal conditions but also in real racing situations. The TimeShifter represents a new generation of time trial helmets: scientifically substantiated, data-driven, and consistently transparent in performance communication.
Fine-tune the aerodynamics with two interchangeable visor shapes: narrow and wide.
Both visors influence the interaction of the helmet with the shoulders, arms, cockpit setup, and airflow. This means that the choice of visor can be specifically adapted to the individual body and seating position. Which configuration is aerodynamically optimal depends on the rider's specific setup. The visor is an integral part of the helmet design. Without the visor, performance can be significantly impaired.
- Ponytail Fit: Thanks to the opening in the height-adjustable system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or braids
- Forced Air Cooling: Ventilation openings are interconnected by channels on the inside to guide the incoming air through the helmet, ensuring maximum air circulation and a pleasant head climate
- Magnetic visor: visor attached by magnets to protect the eyes from wind, rain and insects – easily removable and interchangeable
- Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: rotary wheel at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet
- Slide Divider™: for individual adjustment of the straps by sliding the strap divider – minimalist and functional
- Comfort Pads: soft padded inserts for optimal comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro
- Removable, washable padding: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary
- Magnetic buckle: straps are equipped with a high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic buckle, which allows the chin buckle to be opened with one hand, even when wearing gloves
- In-mold process: manufacturing process in which the inner damping material of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is foamed directly into the outer shell of polycarbonate (PC) – creating a durable and robust connection
