Giant Anthem X Advanced SL 3 29 is an ultra-light and super-fast trail to downcountry full-suspension bike built on a top-tier Advanced SL Composite carbon frame. Compared to a purely racing XC model, it offers increased fork travel, adjusted geometry for greater confidence on descents, and integrated frame storage. Thanks to its low weight, high stiffness, and efficient power transfer, it is extremely fast on climbs, while simultaneously providing a high level of control and fun in technical terrain.The new FlexPoint Pro suspension concept utilizes a semi-integrated shock under the top tube and a single carbon rocker arm, which reduces weight and improves the function of the rear suspension. The rear end with 120 mm travel combined with a 130 mm fork allows for riding challenging descents faster and with greater confidence, without losing pedaling efficiency. A two-position flip chip makes it easy to adjust the geometry according to the terrain and rider preferences.
Internal storage in the down tube with a waterproof bag provides a practical place for tools and small items. The one-piece handlebar-stem combo increases compliance on impacts, saves weight, and along with internal cable routing, creates a clean and tidy cockpit. The Giant XCA WheelSystem wheelset with a fast 120-tooth ratchet drive and robust rim sidewalls increases resistance to impacts and flats, ensuring instant engagement during acceleration.
A powerful full-suspension bike, with which you can easily handle regular off-road riding and day-long trips in the mountains. Equipment with a good ratio of performance and endurance.
Carbon frame
Lightweight, stiff and at the same time still flexible material that absorbs shocks well and increases comfort. A higher price is to be expected.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.
Air fork
The best option in terms of weight and comfort. Provides more adjustment options (rebound, compression). Requires regular service - the service cycle is specified by the manufacturer.
Air shock
When buying a bicycle, it is necessary to set it to the required pressure according to the weight of the rider (specified by the manufacturer of the shock absorber, a shop assistant can also help you). Can provide several ride and suspension adjustment options. Requires regular check-up and is also more demanding to service. Compared to the spring one, it is significantly lighter.
29” wheels
The advantage is better terrain passability, better rolling and traction. However, they are heavier, which also applies to tires.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Zdravím. Neviem sa rozhodnúť M alebo L. Má Giant Anthem 2 29 2018. Tam bol ett 610mm a reach 437mm a stack 585 mm (mal som ale 80mm predstavec miesto 70mm + tam bola originál offsetová sedlovka, ktorú som neskôr vymenil za teleskopickú). Toto M má ett 600, reach 450 (high) a stack 603mm (high). L už je reach 470, ett 623 a stack 612mm.
Mám 178 cm a nohy 85 cm, teda trocha dlhšie v pomere k trupu...
Problém aj je, že tu dávajú integrované riadítka, takže dolaďovať posed sa bude ťažko...

Ako si bol spokojny so sucasnym posedom?
Tabulkovo by som to skor tipoval na vacsiu z tych dvoch velkosti - ale je to aj o osobnej preferencii, ak preferujes viac priestoru nad ramom, vacsiu stabilitu v priamom smere, prip. sportovejsi posed.
Pre pohodovejsie vozenie, prip. aj obratnejsi prejav bicykla potom skor mensi ram.
