Discover new routes and ride with an overview with the new cycle computer. The Edge Explore 2 GPS cycle computer with navigation will be your ideal partner not only on the road. It is equipped with a clear touch screen with a 3" diagonal for clear and simple operation and work with navigation on maps.
Among other things, Edge Explore 2 offers compatibility with external ANT+ accessories, which is complemented by smart-functionality and other interesting (safety and tracking) functions, after connecting a compatible smartphone via Bluetooth. Thanks to the new refined user interface, it will serve just as well when driving and navigating on and off roads in the field, thanks to the pre-installed > cycle map of Europe.
Enjoy cycling trips even without planning. Edge Explore 2 will take care of everything and you will ride new routes like at home. No matter what bike and ride you prefer, Edge Explore 2 will provide optimized navigation with highlighting of popular routes and trails. Available recalculations of the optimal route are now available specifically, e.g. also for eBike rides (eBike routing).
The Edge Explore 2 Power Bundle comes as standard with an extended mount with active power directly from a compatible eBike* for cycling computer charging.
If you own an eBike that is compatible with the Shimano Steps system or ANT+ technology, then after connecting the Edge Explore 2 will display the available data from the eBike. Based on the available data from the eBike and the selected navigation route, you will be notified of a limited range with a suggestion to change the route.
*for connecting from eBike and powering the active holder for Edge > it is necessary to purchase > Adapter cable according to the system used - Bosch Gen. 2, Shimano STEPS or USB-A.
Alternatively, you can use the option of an independent external power supply via the optional Garmin charge™ power pack Edge, which is available as a separately optional accessory.

Dobrý deň, mám eBike - výbava Shimano STEPS. Batéria eBiku je zabudovaná v ráme. Nikde som nenašiel špecifikáciu pre pripojenie z eBike na napájanie aktívneho držiaka pre Edge. Zaujíma ma hlavne dĺžka kábla, spôsob pripojenia a podobne...Ďakujem

Dobry den prajem,
jedna sa o dva uplne rozdielne produkty - rozdielna velkost a rozmer touchscreenu (Explore 2 je o viac ako 2 cm vacsi a 30 g tazsi), iny interface navigacneho systemu, Edge 830 ma naopak pokrocilejsie treningove funkcie. Oba pristroje samozrejme disponuju konektivitou cez Bluetooth a ANT+, Edge 830 disponuju naviac aj rozhranim Wi-fi. Celkovo je tak model Edge 830 pokrocilejsim a bohatsie vybavenym modelom, co sa odzrkadluje aj v jeho o nieco malo vyssej cenovke.
