Garmin Edge 1030 has improved smart notifications, it will inform you when the weather changes, in the event of an accident it will send automatic messages.
It is compatible with the following products: Varia, Vector, Virt, communication via USB, Bluetooth, WiFi, ANT +.
A novelty is the Trendline function, which will suggest a cycling route based on the popularity of individual roads between the points you are about to reach.
Another novelty is the communication between cyclists live. This will allow your smartphone and display navigation. Of course, the notifications are linked to messages from your mobile phone, including the display of incoming calls. And if you want, you can quickly reply with pre-prepared sms messages.
Garmin thought of all the fans of training applications such as Diet. Diet segments can be monitored in real time on the display, the bike computer notifies you well in advance, informs you second by second and compares everything with your personal record, everything is then automatically uploaded to your Diet account.
The mounting itself is solved by a suspended stand, which is in aerodynamic alignment with the handlebars, and it is possible to connect compatible accessories to it, e.g. the aforementioned backup battery.

Super vec. Mám krátko, absolvoval som s Garminom pár výjazdov a tak sa momentálne iba "hrám" s nastavením obrazoviek a údajov, ktoré chcem zobraziť na displeji počas jazdy. Výhodou je spojenie s aplikáciou STRAVA. Nastavenie na bajk veľmi jednoduché a všetko klaplo na prvý krát bez problémov! Super vec! Tiež som si obstaral svetlo od Garminu - bude ale treba ďalší držiak (ten môj na svetlo prišiel so svetlom....na vrch dáte Garmin a zo spodku svetlo - POZOR je veľa variácií, nakoľko pod Garmin sa dá zapnúť napr. aj kamera od Garminu ale treba ďalší držiak....úchytka na svetlo je iná ako na kameru.....ale spravidla príde s tovarom, treba pozrieť obsah balenia - na vrch vždy pasuje garmin bajk computer...teda debiluvzodrne je to tak, že originál držiak od EDGu dáte dole a dáte tam ten od svetla....je ten istý, ale zo spodku pasuje odstupňovaná úchytka na svetlo...ak chcete kameru...tak zas to isté ). Výdrž batérie super!!! Jediná vec ktorá ma irituje, že nižšie modely ukazujú sklon kopca aj s desatinnými číslami...tento najvyšší model nie....len celé čísla!!!...ale ako sa hovorí...zvyknete si aj na šibenicu za domom! Veľa zdaru a veľa safe km priateľa!
