The suspension seatpost damper CRX/URB 70 S completely reduces all minor vibrations and smaller bumps. It also helps to dampen sharp impacts from larger bumps or obstacles. This brings a comfortable ride to otherwise inhospitable terrain. The forged head and hardened aluminum provide sufficient strength to withstand even the toughest conditions. Designed primarily for Cross and Trekking/Touring style riding, but also perfectly suited for urban environments for riders weighing up to 65kg. The suspension stiffness can be adjusted using an Allen bolt at the bottom of the seatpost. Tightening the bolt makes the suspension stiffer and thus more suitable for heavier riders, while loosening it makes the suspension more suitable for lighter riders.
• 6061 aluminum is commonly used in the structural parts of yachts, automotive chassis, or even scuba diving tanks. This aluminum alloy is designed to withstand high pressures.
• Forged – a block of heated aluminum is forged and pressed into the desired mold. The result is a stronger material that can withstand higher loads.
• T6 – material processing through a cycle of specific conditions to achieve significantly higher hardness. Also known as "Tempering".
