Park Tool PT-BBT-179 bottom bracket remover
The Park Tool PT-BBT-179 bottom bracket tool is a robust tool, made from precisely machined 4140 steel, designed for the removal and installation of selected threaded bottom brackets with a 12-spline fitting. Its extra-deep body is designed for extra-wide bottom brackets, and low-profile walls allow access to recessed lockrings. Integrated threads provide increased stability when used with the Park Tool BBT-RS retainer system or with GPS-1 guide pins.
- Made from precisely machined 4140 steel
- Designed for 12-spline threaded bottom bracket fittings with an outer diameter of 45–47 mm and an inner diameter of 44 mm
- Compatible with bottom brackets such as SRAM® BSA DUB®, Race Face® Cinch®, Rotor® BSA30, Zipp® Vuma™, and Hawk Racing™ BB3086™
- Extra-deep body for extra-wide bottom brackets
- Low-profile walls for recessed lockrings
- Three fitting options: 3/8" square drive, 1" hex, and 36 mm flats for a wrench
- Integrated threads for use with the Park Tool BBT-RS retainer system or GPS-1 guide pins
- Outer diameter at engagement point 50.04 mm
