Compressport Aero are ultra-light, highly breathable aero socks with a high cut, designed to maximize speed in the cycling portion of a triathlon and other multisport performances. They were developed based on wind tunnel testing to reduce air resistance and save valuable watts while riding.
The front section uses a structured material and AERO-DOTS, which direct airflow and reduce turbulence in the rear section of the sock. The foot construction is based on an ultra-light running model: technical mesh fits like a second skin, ensuring exceptional ventilation and rapid wicking of sweat and moisture. The new toe shape ergonomically follows the toes, improving proprioception and promoting a natural, fluid stride, while the toe area is complemented by a terry lining for increased comfort.
The reinforced arch supports microcirculation and prevents the sock from twisting in cycling or running shoes, thereby reducing the risk of blisters and chafing. In the rear section, ultra-thin mesh ensures maximum breathability, while two rows of 3D-DOTS in the Achilles tendon area add support during pedaling and running. The high aero cut respects UCI limits, and the upper cuff with silicone dots keeps the sock securely in place even during intense running after dismounting the bike.
