Nano Flex from Castelli has always symbolized innovation. It earned its reputation by providing water protection that worked in the rain and in the sun. But the reality is clear: in a world without PFAS, this type of all-conditions treatment is no longer possible.
So we went back to basics.
With Nano Flex EVO, we didn't try to recreate the past. Instead, we designed something purposeful: a true wet-weather cycling tight designed exclusively for riding in the rain.
The Nano Rain tight is designed for dedicated riders who never skip a ride when conditions turn nasty: when the roads are soaked, the temperatures are low, and staying dry is more important than versatility. It is made from a tightly woven polypropylene fabric with C0 PFAS-free DWR that naturally resists water absorption while providing exceptional warmth. This construction creates a protective barrier that shields you even in the worst weather.
To support this focused performance, the tight features a reduced seam construction, a flat finish at the ankle for less bulk when paired with shoe covers, and an integrated reflective Nano Flex EVO logo band for enhanced visibility.
This is not a "Rain or Shine" tight. It is designed for rain only and requires care for best results. After every wet ride, wash it. While still wet from washing, apply a water-repellent spray and let it dry for 24 hours. Once dry, store it until the next rainy day.
