Castelli COMPETIZIONE W DT Women's Tights
Cycling tights that are comfortable in cool to winter weather.Close-fitting tights for cyclists, clean and simple. Made for riders who don't slow down in winter, they are designed to cover the widest possible temperature range, from cool days to sub-freezing days when you might opt for full wind protection. It's deceptively simple, but clean lines hide a lot of technology inside. These tights are made from three different fabrics to provide the right coverage for each part of the body. The front fabric, from the waist to the knees, is Castelli Core Due fabric, a densely knitted polyester-nylon blend with a higher grammage that blocks most of the wind. The polyester part is close to the skin for active moisture wicking and the yarns have a hollow core, meaning the dead air space in the middle provides extra insulation. On the back of the thighs and seat, a highly elastic fleece fabric helps to fit the body better. From the knee to the ankle, Castelli Thermoflex offers perfect warmth and flexibility, and the single seam on the inside of the legs prevents chafing around the knee. These warm tights are finished with a flat construction at the ankle, have Drop Tail strap construction and a KISS Air2 Donna insert.
