Ride Concepts TALLAC BOA shoes, black/charcoal
Tallac is the flagship of Ride Concepts. It uses only the best technologies and materials. It combines elements of bike shoes and off-road shoes, designed to have grip on and off the bike. Model designed for trail and enduro use. The stiffness of the sole and the overall construction suits both the average rider and the enduro series race tracks.
The Cordura® upper is breathable and lightweight, yet incredibly durable. Cordura is used where high abrasion resistance is required.
Almost no seams were used, everything is thoroughly welded. The reason is again resistance to damage and water penetration.
Velcro fastening and BOA dial with a lifetime warranty. BOA located at the top and Velcro at the bottom ensures a properly distributed tightening of the foot and at the same time makes it the easiest to put on / take off. The tongue is elastically attached to the construction of the shoe so that it stays in place and prevents the penetration of dirt.
Ride Concepts is the only manufacturer to use D3O technology across several models. Everyone probably knows D3O from its bicycle protectors (Race Face, Bluegrass...). The inner insole has integrated D3O protectors in the area of the heel and toes to protect against shocks or an unjumped double and subsequent stepping on the heel. Thanks to D3O, the foot is less tired and prone to abrasions. You won't find this technology anywhere else!
The Max Grip sole offers the perfect balance between grip and durability. The most grippy sole compound designed for platform pedals. RC could make a sole that sticks literally like glue, but would the sole last long? Max Grip is the result of development with Rubber Kinetics (Good Year). Perfect grip with every platform on the market. Stiff enough to transfer power to the pedal.
