I changed to a Tiagra derailleur. I also ride on dirt roads and worse terrain. It is much stronger and the chain does not throw as much. I got a little stuck during assembly, when the derailleur did not reach the smallest cog. But then I noticed that there is a possibility of mechanically moving the entire derailleur in that one joint, by changing the washer/limiter. So luckily it was OK after that .

SK Dobry den, prehadzovacku Tiagra 4700 nahradit GRX-400-kou mozete, maju rovnaky pomer tahu na lanko. V podstate sa jedna o gravel verziu Tiagry R4700 s klznou spojkou Shadow+ na zafixovanie ramienka pre jazdu v terene co na cestnom bicykli velmi nevyuzijete. GRX-400 GS je navrhnuta max na 36 zubov. Kazeta s vacsim rozsahom na 3x10 pohone, ktory uz sam o sebe poskytuje vela kombinacii postrada ucel a mala by prilis velke skoky 2 a viac zubov medzi jednotlivymi prevodmi preto sa tiez nejedna o uplne optimalne riesenie. Jedina vyhoda ktora prameni z takejto vymeny je len moznost fixacie ramieka Shadow+ inak je z uzivatelskeho hladiska Tiagra 4700 skoro uplne to iste. Kazety s vacsimi rozsahmi pribudali najma v suvislosti so zvysovanim poctu prevodov 10 a viac a prechodom z 2x na 1x pohon aby lepsie pokryli vyuzitelne rozsahy. Pri kazete viac ako 34-36 zubov sa rovnako nevyhnete problemom so spravnym nastavenim presmyku. Je na Vasom zvazeni ci to vyuzijete naplno a bavi Vas experimentovat s hranicami a nastrahami kompatibility komponentov.
