The first special edition OSPW RS. The new Argent and Niro versions bring a clean aesthetic and a bold graphic element to the OSPW RS cage design. The dark Niro design is paired with black ALPHA disc pulley wheels, while the silver Argent design is matched with silver ALPHA disc pulley wheels. With our OSPW RS for Shimano Road set, we're taking OSPW into the future with a distinctly modern and angular design. The updated design brings balance and refinement to the OSPW system, allowing it to seamlessly fit into current design trends for bikes and kits that form a whole that includes the OSPW system. TRANSFER TIME Active Debris Remover (ADR) ADR is a patented technical feature that is based on a unique combination that virtually prevents debris from entering the bearing. It consists of a new design of dust cover that is securely anchored in a groove in the pulley wheel, completely surrounding the bearing. This is paired with a vane groove structure that surrounds the dust cover, which dynamically removes debris from the pulley wheel as it rotates. ADR was developed in a constant pendulum between our R&D department, the CeramicSpeed test lab, and field testing conducted by a select group of our professional field teams. ALPHA DiscFor our new OSPW RS, we offer versions equipped with the extremely durable ALPHA disc, which was first introduced with our OSPW X for Eagle transmission. The ALPHA Disc has a two-piece construction. A separate narrow tooth profile made of composite material that offers long-term wear protection and noise reduction. As well as a solid aluminum disc that eliminates the potential for foreign objects to become trapped between the spokes of the pulley wheel, while adding strength and rigidity to the pulley wheel design. The first versions of our fixed disc wheel design were field tested during the Cyclocross World Cups a few years ago. During the 2022 cyclocross season, our sponsored Tormans team made extensive use of the hard disc design and provided valuable feedback on its ability to provide mud clearance in the worst conditions. New design: better quality and strength The new design for the OSPW RS is not just a visual update. The cage itself has been reinforced to offer a new level of strength and durability.
