The following instructions should always be followed in order to prevent personal injury, damage to equipment or damage to the surrounding area. The instructions are classified according to the degree of danger or damage which may occur if the product is used incorrectly.

DANGER
- Use the specified charging cable when charging the battery. Use of any other item may lead to fire, overheating, leakage, or damage to the connected PC.
- Prevent the charging cable from getting wet, and do not touch or hold it if it is wet or if your hands are wet. Failure to do so may result in problems with operation or electric shock.
- Use an AC adapter with a USB port with a voltage of DC 5.0 V and a current of at least DC 0.5 A. If you use an adapter with a current rating of less than 0.5 A, the AC adapter may heat up, resulting in fire, smoking, overheating, damage, electric shock, or burns.
- Do not heat the battery or throw it into a fire. Failure to do so may result in fire or rupture.
- Do not use or leave the battery in hot or humid locations where the battery may be exposed to direct sunlight, in a vehicle that is closed during a hot day, or near a heater. Failure to do so may result in leakage, overheating, or rupture, resulting in fire, burns, or other injuries.
- Do not disassemble or modify the battery; also, do not directly apply solder to the battery terminals. Failure to do so may result in leakage, overheating, or rupture, resulting in fire, burns, or other injuries.
- Do not allow metal terminals to come into contact with metallic objects such as hairpins. Failure to do so may result in short-circuiting, overheating, burns, or other injuries.
- If fluid leaking from the battery gets into your eyes, immediately rinse the affected area with water without rubbing your eyes, and then seek medical attention. Failure to do so may result in blindness.
WARNING
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. It may cause the product to not operate correctly, and you may fall unexpectedly and suffer serious injury.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the crank arms are not cracked. If there are any cracks, the crank arm may break and you may fall off the bicycle.
- Be careful not to get parts of your clothing caught in the chain during riding, otherwise you may fall off the bicycle.
- Always grasp the cable plug when connecting or disconnecting the charging cable. Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not leave this product in an extremely high-temperature environment such as in a closed vehicle on a hot day or near a heater. This may lead to the built-in battery exploding, or flammable liquid or gas leaking from it.
- Do not subject this product to extremely low air pressure. This could cause the built-in battery to explode, or flammable liquid or gas to leak from it. There is no problem with air transport of this product.
- If the following symptoms occur, stop using the device and contact the place of purchase. Fire or electric shock may result.
* If pungent smoke comes out of the AC plug or the plug is heating up.
* There may be a poor connection inside the AC plug.
- If thunder is rumbling while charging with an AC adapter with a USB port, do not touch the device, the bicycle, or the AC adapter. Electric shock may result from a lightning strike.
- Do not use a USB hub to connect the cable to the PC's USB port. Charging failure or fire due to overheating may result.
- Be careful not to damage the charging cable. Do not damage them, modify them, forcibly bend, twist, or pull them, place them near hot objects, place heavy objects on them, or bundle them tightly. Use in a damaged state may result in fire, electric shock, or short-circuiting.
- If the battery does not fully charge after 4 hours of charging, stop charging. Failure to do so may result in fire, rupture, or overheating.
- When disposing of this product, follow all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, as it contains a battery. Disposal of this product in a fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting it, may result in an explosion of the built-in battery.
- Do not immerse the product in fresh water or salt water, etc., and prevent the terminals from getting wet. Failure to do so may result in fire, rupture, or overheating.
- Do not use the battery outside of the specified operating temperature ranges. If the battery is used or stored at temperatures outside of these ranges, fire, injury, or problems during operation may result. The operating temperature ranges are shown below.
1. During discharging: -10 °C – 50 °C
2. During charging: 0 °C – 45 °C
- Do not subject the product to strong impact or throw it. Failure to do so may result in rupture, overheating, or problems during operation.
- Do not use the battery if it exhibits leakage, discoloration, deformation, or other atypical signs. Failure to do so may result in rupture, overheating, or problems during operation.
- If leaking fluid gets on your skin or clothing, immediately clean it off with clean water. The leaked fluid may damage the skin.
- Keep the magnet included with this product away from magnetic cards, medical devices, inspection instruments, etc. This may cause data loss or malfunction.
CAUTION
- Be careful not to touch the gear teeth. There is a possibility of injury.
- Store in a safe place out of reach of small children to prevent accidental swallowing.
- This product contains a powerful magnet and should be handled with care. There is a danger of catching and injuring your hand or fingers.
- Prevent grease from adhering to the metal terminals. This may cause conduction failure.
- Do not leave the charging cable connected during maintenance.
