For safety, be sure to read this "user's manual" thoroughly before use, follow it for correct use, and keep it in a safe place for later reference.
The following instructions should always be followed in order to prevent personal injury, damage to equipment or damage to the surrounding area. The instructions are classified according to the degree of danger or damage which may occur if the product is used incorrectly.
DANGER - Failure to follow the instructions will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING - Failure to follow the instructions could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION - Failure to follow the instructions could result in personal injury, or physical damage to equipment or surroundings.
WARNING
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. It may cause the product to not operate correctly, and you may fall unexpectedly and be seriously injured.
- If you are not confident in how to adjust the pedal pins, consult with the place of purchase or a distributor.
- Lift your feet off the pedals and move them to the side to release them from the pedals. Place one foot firmly on the ground and practice attaching and detaching the other foot from the pedal until you can do so naturally. Otherwise, you may fall and be seriously injured. If you cannot perform this action, use the product with spacers installed or short pins replaced.
- Wear clothing and protectors that are appropriate for the way you ride the bicycle. Because the cleats are very long, if they come into contact with the skin, they may cause serious injury.
- Always have reflectors installed on the bicycle when riding on public roads.
- Do not continue riding the bicycle if the reflectors are dirty or damaged. If you do, it may be difficult for oncoming vehicles to notice you.
