The Bianchi Oltre XR4 disc is not just a disc version of the already well-known Oltre XR4, it is a completely new modified frame designed specifically for disc brakes . -1.5 " due to the use of fully integrated Vision Metron 5D ACR handlebars, in which the brake hoses pass inside the stem directly into the frame, so no wiring is visible outside when using the electronic kit. When using conventional shifting, only the brake hoses go inside the frame. The frame continues to take advantage of Countervail® vibration cancelling technology. Of course, there are several reasons to use disc brakes, but the most important ones are the same braking effect and braking intensity in all weather conditions, as well as the ability to use wider tires for greater driving comfort and better adhesion.

Bianchi, an Italian brand, has been manufacturing bikes since 1885, which makes them the oldest bike manufacturer in the world. Many wins on the Grand Tour have been done with bikes from this brand.
