FOX Air Volume Tuning Kit service kit for Trek IsoStrut shock absorbers (2020+)
The original Fox Air Volume Tuning Kit is designed to fine-tune the progressivity of the air spring of Trek IsoStrut shock absorbers from the 2020 model year, used for example on Trek Supercaliber XC bikes. Different sizes of inserts allow you to adapt the suspension to the rider's weight and the type of track, increase support at the end of the stroke and reduce hard stops during impacts. A properly adjusted IsoStrut system improves pedaling efficiency, rear wheel traction, and rear end stability on technical climbs and descents.
The inserts are installed directly into the air chamber and change its internal volume, thereby affecting the stiffness of the shock absorber at the end of the stroke. The kit is made of durable engineering polymer and is a genuine Fox/Trek replacement part that provides reliable and repeatable results when tuning suspension. During assembly, it is important to follow recommended service procedures, especially complete depressurization of the chamber, cleanliness of sliding surfaces, and proper lubrication of seals with a suitable lubricant.
