FOX 40 Factory GripX2 29" suspension fork

The 2027 FOX 40 fork is designed to be the fastest downhill fork. Every detail, from the GripX2 shock absorber to the lower legs and air spring, has been redesigned to provide maximum control and confidence even in the most demanding downhill passages. The result is high sensitivity and consistency when driving.

 

A key innovation is the GlideCore air spring technology, which significantly reduces friction and, thanks to a larger negative chamber volume, ensures unparalleled sensitivity at the beginning of the stroke. The generative lower leg design, specific to the 29" version, delivers higher stiffness at lower weight. The 203mm travel fork for 29" wheels features Genuine Kashima Coat inner legs and uses a DH Boost 20mm floating axle. 

  • GlideCore air spring for a radical increase in sensitivity by eliminating dynamic friction
  • Larger negative chamber volume for smoother operation at the beginning of the stroke and maximum front wheel grip
  • Integrated MCU Bottom-Out Bumper for a progressive feel at the end of the stroke
  • Generatively designed lower legs for the 29" version with optimized stiffness-to-weight ratio
  • Updated vent valves and relocated bypass channels for effective pressure equalization in the lower legs
  • Air side top cap compatible with standard cartridge wrench for easier servicing
  • Possibility of installing a new fender
