The FOX 40 Factory GripX2 29" suspension fork for the 2027 model year is designed with a clear goal: to be the fastest downhill fork. Engineers have re-engineered every detail, from the damper cartridge to the air spring and lower legs, to achieve the most sensitive and consistent fork yet. This fork provides the rider with maximum control and confidence even in the most demanding downhill sections.A key innovation is the implementation of the GlideCore air spring technology, which significantly reduces friction and, thanks to the increased volume of the negative chamber, provides unparalleled sensitivity at the beginning of the travel. The new generative design of the lower legs for the 29" version brings higher stiffness with lower weight, while the updated GripX2 cartridge unlocks even more performance for professional racing use. The fork is equipped with Genuine Kashima Coat stanchion finish and a 20 mm DH Boost thru-axle.
