FOX DHX Factory Trunnion shock, springless
The FOX DHX Factory Trunnion is a rear spring shock for all-mountain and enduro riders who want maximum traction, responsiveness, and a reliable "coil" feel when pedaling even on technical descents. The new monotube construction with a high-flow piston for the 2027 model year delivers the responsiveness and grip of elite downhill shocks, but in a package optimized for all-day trail riding. The improved MCU stop buffer ensures a smooth end-of-stroke travel, while the redesigned top-out buffer ensures quiet operation without unwanted noise.
Intuitive, tool-free compression and rebound control allows for quick tuning of the shock to suit terrain and riding style. The two-position Open/Firm lever helps efficiently transfer power to the pedals when needed, and the indexed spring preload sleeve with detent prevents the adjustment from loosening unintentionally. The shock uses a coil spring, which is supplied separately - choosing the right stiffness for the rider's weight and frame specification is key to optimal SAG and suspension performance. Trunnion mount and double-sided bearing mount compatibility simplify integration into modern frames.
