The original five-piece FOX aluminum alloy mounting kit is designed to precisely and securely mount the FOX rear shock to a bicycle frame with an 8 mm pivot diameter. Spacers and sealing elements help eliminate play in the joint, increase the stability of the shock absorber in the frame, and contribute to the smooth operation of the suspension without unwanted noise.
Corrosion- and mechanical stress-resistant aluminum alloy combined with precise surface treatment ensures a long service life for both the mounting hardware and the sliding bushing in the shock absorber eye. During assembly, it is advisable to lightly lubricate the friction surfaces and follow the bicycle manufacturer's recommended assembly procedures.
