This generation of the Diamond D1 shines brighter than ever thanks to a series of improvements. It has been upgraded to a robust 36mm construction that ensures exceptional control in difficult sections, a redesigned crown with more space for controls, our top-of-the-line SL air spring, an improved D1 shock, and an all-new 3D machining process for incredibly precise alignment and smooth operation. D1 REMASTERED DAMPER
Our new and improved D1 shock utilizes a 22% increase in chamber volume, giving you the small-bump comfort you always crave when battling terrain at high speeds. On the compression side, we drastically improved the feel of high-speed hits by reducing the progression in the shock system. Imagine the wheel veering off the road when you hit a curb or rock, instead of pushing against the resistance and causing a shock to your hands. The improved rebound design reduces damping force at high speeds, allowing gliders to return from lift faster.
SL SUPER-LIGHT AIR SYSTEM
After countless simulations, calculations, and prototypes, we found a dual air system that could offer amazing small-bump sensitivity, mid-stroke support, and bottom-out resistance.
