Hi.....I have a 30z E13 chainring on my bike and I want to replace it with a 32z E13 chainring. But I don't know what offset I should put on it. It's not mentioned in the bike's specifications (Trek Prokaliber 8). Is it possible to mount a chainring from another brand there? The cranks are E13 helix.

SK Offset by mal byt vyznaceny na povodnom prevodníku, takže obecne, treba použiť stejný, ak to rám pri prechode na vacsi prevodnik dovoluje, alebo o trošku menší (napr. Garbaruk robí prevodníky tak, že čím väčší prevodník, tým menší offset, aby zuby nekolidovali zo zadnou vidlicou - platí ako pre prevedenie Standard, tak aj Boost).
A urcite je mozne pouzit aj prevodnik od ineho vyrobcu s montazou pre e13, napr. Garbaruk ci AbsoluteBlack. Vyhodou moznosti alt. vyrobcov (napr. Garbaruk) je to, ze ponukaju trosku ine offsety, cim sa da lepsie doladit retazova linka (u 12 speed sa mi osvedcilo, ze cim je prevodnik blizsie ku ramu (t.j. najvacsi offset, aky ram este znesie), tym pohon lepsie radi a retaz nespadava pri backpedal).

SK Ahoj... pôvodný prevodník(30z) má vyrazený offset -3/0 mm.Bude mi tam pasovať prevodnik s offsetom 5mm?Oba prevodníky sú e13.

SK Na kluky pasovat bude , otazkou je ram. Ak novy ma offset 5mm a povodny 3mm, bude blizsie ku ramu o 2mm. Zmeraj si najmensiu vzdialenost medzi ramom (zadna vidlica) a zubami, ci je tam este dost medzery na zuzenie o 2 mm, pocitaj vsak s tym, ze 32z bude vacsi ako 30z, tak to odhadni v tom mieste. Dalsou alternativou je kupit, "vyskusat" (prilozit akoby na miesto povodneho, ked su dole kluky) a pripadne vratit.
