The following directions must be always followed in order to prevent personal injury, physical damage to equipment and the surroundings. The directions are classified according to the degree of danger or damage which may occur if the product is used incorrectly.

DANGER
- Be sure to use the specified charging cable when charging the battery. Use of any other items may lead to fire, overheating, leakage, or damage to the connected PC.
- Prevent the charging cable from getting wet, and do not touch or hold it if it is wet or if your hands are wet. Failure to do so may result in operating problems or electric shock.
- Use an AC adapter with a USB port with a voltage of DC 5.0 V and a current of at least DC 0.5 A. If you use an adapter with a current rating of less than 0.5 A, the AC adapter may heat up, resulting in fire, smoking, overheating, damage, electric shock, or burns.
- Do not heat the battery or throw it into a fire. Failure to do so may result in fire or bursting.
- Do not use or leave the battery in hot or humid locations where the battery may be exposed to direct sunlight, in a vehicle that is closed during a hot day, or near a heater. Failure to do so may result in leakage, overheating, or bursting, resulting in fire, burns, or other injuries.
- Do not disassemble or modify the battery; also, do not directly apply solder to the battery terminals. Failure to do so may result in leakage, overheating, or bursting, resulting in fire, burns, or other injuries.
- Do not allow metal terminals to come into contact with metallic objects such as hairpins. Failure to do so may result in short-circuiting, overheating, burns, or other injuries.
- If fluid leaking from the battery gets into your eyes, immediately rinse the affected area with water without rubbing your eyes, and then seek medical attention. Failure to do so may result in blindness.
WARNING
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. This may cause the product to not operate correctly, and you may fall unexpectedly and suffer serious injury.
- Before riding a bicycle, check that the crank arms are not cracked. If there are any cracks, the crank arm may break and you may fall off the bicycle.
- Be careful not to allow parts of your clothing to get caught in the chain during riding, otherwise you may fall off the bicycle.
- Always grasp the cable plug when connecting or disconnecting the charging cable. Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not leave this product in an environment with an extremely high temperature, such as in a closed vehicle during a hot day, or near a heater. This may cause the built-in battery to explode, or flammable liquid or gas to leak from it.
- Do not subject this product to extremely low air pressure. This could cause the built-in battery to explode, or flammable liquid or gas to leak from it. There is no problem with transporting this product by air.
- If the following symptoms occur, stop using the device and contact the place of purchase. Fire or electric shock may result.
* If pungent smoke comes out of the AC plug or the plug is heating up.
* There may be a poor connection inside the AC plug.
- Do not touch the device, bicycle, or AC adapter if there is thunder during charging with an AC adapter with a USB port. Electric shock may result from a lightning strike.
- Do not use a USB hub to connect the cable to the PC's USB port. Charging failure or fire due to overheating may result.
- Be careful not to damage the charging cable. Do not damage them, modify them, forcibly bend, twist, or pull them, place them near hot objects, place heavy objects on them, or bundle them tightly. Use in a damaged state may result in fire, electric shock, or short-circuiting.
- If the battery is not fully charged after 4 hours of charging, stop charging. Failure to do so may result in fire, bursting, or overheating.
- When disposing of this product, follow all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, as it contains a battery. Disposal of this product in a fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting it, may result in an explosion of the built-in battery.
- Do not immerse the product in fresh water or salt water, etc., and prevent the terminals from getting wet. Failure to do so may result in fire, bursting, or overheating.
- Do not use the battery outside of the specified operating temperature ranges. Fire, injury, or operating problems may result if the battery is used or stored at temperatures outside of these ranges. The operating temperature ranges are as follows.
1. During discharging: -10 °C – 50 °C
2. During charging: 0 °C – 45 °C
- Do not subject the product to strong impact or throw it. Failure to do so may result in bursting, overheating, or operating problems.
- Do not use the battery if it exhibits leakage, discoloration, deformation, or other atypical signs. Failure to do so may result in bursting, overheating, or operating problems.
- If leaking fluid gets on your skin or clothing, immediately clean it off with clean water. The leaked fluid may damage the skin.
- Keep the magnet included with this product away from magnetic cards, medical devices, inspection instruments, and the like. This may cause data loss or malfunction.
CAUTION
- Be careful not to touch the gear teeth. There is a possibility of injury.
- Store in a safe place out of reach of small children to prevent accidental swallowing.
- This product contains a powerful magnet and should be handled with care. There is a risk of hand or fingers being caught and injured.
- Prevent grease from adhering to the metal terminals. This may cause conduction failure.
- Do not leave the charging cable connected during maintenance.
