The components of the transmission system are thus protected, because there is no change of transmission in full engagement.
The sensor is installed on the shifting cable of the derailleur.
It is compatible with the Bafang MaxDrive mid-motor and plugs into the prepared connector in the motor.
The use of a shift sensor is a recommended addition for the combination of a central motor - an external derailleur and literally an essential part in the case of using an internal gearbox in the rear hub of the wheel.
