  • Derauiller hangers:Derauiller hangers are small replaceable components that connect the rear derailleur to the frame. Derauiller hangers are designed to bend or break in the event of a fall or impact, protecting the more expensive frame and derailleur from damage. Having a spare Derauiller hanger is a wise investment for cyclists, because if the original shoe is damaged, it can be easily replaced, thus avoiding more extensive repairs.
  • Frame pivots are located at the pivot points and joints of the frame where movement occurs, especially in suspension systems. They allow articulated movement of the frame and provide the necessary flexibility for full-suspension mountain bikes. Regular maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of pivot points, is essential for trouble-free operation and long service life. Replacement pivot kits often include replacement bearings and other hardware to ensure these critical areas remain in optimal condition.
