Rim brake pads - rubbers

Brake pads, or “rubbers” for rim brakes, are the basic components that provide braking power by applying friction to the braking surface of the rim. When selecting brake pads, the following characteristics should be taken into account:

Material composition: Brake pads for rims are usually made of rubber or rubber compounds. These materials are selected for their friction properties, durability, and ability to provide effective braking without excessive rim wear.
