Cannondale Synapse Carbon is a road bike with a carbon BallisTec frame. This gives the bike rigidity and strength. The geometry of the frame is designed for long and comfortable endurance riding. Synpase is one of the most versatile road bikes. It's a blend of raw power and comfort. The Synapse Carbon Ultegra Disc is equipped with a perfectly functional and light Shimano Ultegra set and disc brakes that guarantee a stable braking effect in all conditions. Carbon rims provide ease in the hills.
SERG SYNAPSE ENDURANCE RACE GEOMETRY
Thanks to a slightly higher head tube, a slightly extended wheelbase and a more laid-back fork, the SERG represents the perfect compromise of a sharp racing position and an upright sitting position. A great solution for long endurance rides, as well as sure and precise control that can handle even more demanding terrain.
SAVE PLUS MICRO SUSPENSION
The solution called PLUS Micro-suspension consists of three components. It includes specific carbon layering in the areas of the rear structure, fork and seat tube. Everything is designed in such a way that the individual parts complement each other and eliminate vibrations, improve control and increase comfort.
SAVE PLUS MICRO-SUSPENSION SYSTEM (seat post and seat tube)
The elegant small-diameter seat post (25.4 mm) and the seat tube are designed to spring in harmony with each other, thus taking care of the rider's comfort while riding in the saddle. The integrated pull-down system without a classic sleeve allows the seatpost a greater degree of movement than is the case with conventional solutions.
SAVE PLUS MICRO-SUSPENSION SYSTEM (REAR AND FORK)
The carbon layer at the fork and the rear structure is purposefully designed so that high-frequency vibrations are absorbed in these places. The pronounced profile and shaping of the rear structure struts help the rear part handle bumps better, as does the fork with a specific backward-facing offset of the wheel axis. All for safer control and more comfort, whether you are sitting or standing.
POWER PYRAMID / BB30
The seat tube bifurcates asymmetrically at its lower end and is fitted with a new wider BB30 (73mm) center for maximum stiffness and minimum weight. The Power Pyramid is a solid foundation for maximum power transfer.
Disc brakes
The frame and fork designed for disc brakes use from the ground up a refined layering of carbon to create sufficient support for braking forces, while not losing any of the comfort that the Synapse models are famous for. The unique ReachAround rear brake mount makes brake adjustment easier, and thanks to this solution it is possible to use Shimano or SRAM brakes.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
