Cannondale SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod Disc Ultegra Di2
The third generation of the super successful SuperSix frame is completely redesigned, it gets a more aerodynamic look, internal guidance, fixed Speed Release axles on both wheels, disc brakes with FlatMount mounting, passability for tires up to 30mm wide.
"Aerodynamic efficiency plays a big part in speed and performance, so reducing drag on the new SuperSix EVO was a priority," says Nathan Berry, Cannondale engineer. At the same time, however, it was equally important that the new bike retain the low weight, stiffness and comfort for which the previous generations were praised. To achieve the best possible balance between light weight and aerodynamics, the SuperSix EVO uses a new shape of vertical aerodynamic tubes that minimize air resistance, while maintaining or improving the weight, stiffness and comfort of previous frames. This tube shape is a key element of the sleek integrated design, where the frame, fork, seatpost, handlebars, stem and wheels form a single unit that is ready for maximum performance. All this creates a bike where riders save a full 30 watts of power at 48 km/h compared to the previous version. This makes the SuperSix EVO the fastest lightweight road bike on the market today.
Since its inception, the SuperSix EVO has been sought after for its comfort and ride quality. But now it is even more comfortable. The new SAVE rear structure, the integrated seatpost lock increase flexibility. The frame is able to accommodate 30 mm tires.
The SuperSix Evo also offers riders a unique way to connect with their bike. An integrated sensor in the front wheel with the Cannondale mobile phone app provides the rider with extremely accurate information about speed, route and distance. It will also offer additional information about his bike, send service reminders and much more.
Thanks to thoughtful details such as the fixed axles of the Speed Release system and easy-to-service internal cable routing, the SuperSix EVO is a thoroughbred road bike that you will fly on.
