Ultimate racing XC bike, Lefty Ocho Carbon fork, breakthrough suspension, aggressive geometry and low weight.

It is here! Ultimate racing XC bike from the new school!

The all-new Cannondale Scalpel delivers breakthrough suspension, aggressive geometry with a lowered head angle and a more upright seat tube angle, and pleasantly light weight.

Once you settle on the new Cannondale Scalpel, you'll dominate where others hesitate, grip where others slip, and attack when everyone's out of breath!

Technologies of the new Scalpel:

1 - FlexPivot - the key to the incredible performance of the Scalpel suspension bike and its light weight. These patented flex zones made of carbon behave the same as Horst Link pivots, but are lighter, stiffer and more durable than any bearing variant.

2 - STASH Kit – everything you need for quick repairs on the trails. Fabric 8 in 1 tool in holder, Dynaplug tubeless repair kit and CO2 pump. All this elegantly hidden under the basket. Easily and quickly accessible.

3 - Lefty Ocho - In short, Lefty is the most advanced fork with the quietest operation and precise control. All this in an ultra-light package. Thanks to its construction, which has no analogues in cycling, you can take on the most difficult passages.

4 - OutFront geometry strong> - Thanks to the extra large offset fork, you get stability in demanding passages, but at the same time it maintains fast XC steering everywhere else.

5 - Connection - The integrated Wheel sensor provides extremely accurate measurement of speed, distance on the route, helps you with wheel registration, alerts you to service inspections, all through the Cannondale app.

6 - AI - Asymmetric Integration - Our unique drive offset offers great tire clearance, but also keeps the rear short for great traction and agility. At the same time, it creates a stiffer rear wheel. AI is a win-win-win situation.

7 - Proportional response technology - Unlike the competition, which uses the same suspension kinematics for all sizes, we focus on precise tuning for each size, so every rider, regardless of their height, will enjoy the same great suspension performance.

8 - two bottles for drinking - proper hydration without a backpack, and that's great!

9 - Direct Line cabling – thanks to the internal tubes in the frame and rear structure, the installation of cabling is quick and easy.

Let's summarize:

Suspension designed for speed - the most advanced XC suspension without sacrificing performance for gram savings. The patented FlexPivot is incredibly light and offers excellent grip, acceleration and control. So you can go everywhere.

Degrees of difference - the head tube is now 1.5 ° lower and the seat tube, on the contrary, 1 ° more upright. This makes the new Scalpel more aggressive, lightning fast, fun and stable in all circumstances. He doesn't care if you're going to a world cup race or the nearest trail.

Rigid, light, fast - the weight of the frame including the shock absorber is 1900 g - there is no need for more words.

The best XC fork - Lefty Ocho is the most advanced XC fork with the quietest operation and precise control, all at a very low weight.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Cannondale, an American brand established in 1971, is characteristic of its innovative approach and modern design. They are not afraid of unconventional solutions that are moving the evolution forward. Many of you probably remember their HeadShok forks with suspension in the crown of a set. Since the 2000s, it is the "simple" fork Lefty characteristic with its firmness, weight and smooth course. Another groundbreaking invention were aluminium models labelled CAAD, which have a place in their offer even today. Cannondale has a wide selection of components and assortment to equip you for your ride.
