All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Variant Marin Four Corners 1 Sword 28 bicykel, čierna

I'm running in the bike, I've ridden about 350km. Initial feelings are very positive. Compared to the CTM Koyuk, the seat is significantly more comfortable. At 178cm tall, I have a size M and it fits well. Even in the lower grip, I can ride quite comfortably for a long time. It was downright uncomfortable on the Koyuk.

I made some upgrades right at the beginning - the original wheels are really heavy and were immediately replaced with DT Swiss U533 which I got on sale online for under 200 euros. Even this fairly cheap set of wheels was about half a kilo lighter than the original ones.... I weighed the complete set with tires, not just the rims, so there is a slight distortion of course, but more or less all reviews confirm that the original wheels are paperweights. The second upgrade was the derailleur - replaced with a microSHIFT ADVENT RD M6195L with a larger capacity, which allowed me to use an 11-42z cassette. Advent and Sword have the same cable pull, just for information, many probably don't know. So I have a gearing with a range that GRX and SRAM users can only quietly envy. No hill is a problem even in spring with extra pounds and worse condition. In summer, you will appreciate it on difficult trips.

As for the minuses - probably just a higher weight, but I expected that and I don't mind it. After changing the wheels to the aforementioned DT Swiss and with Tufo Thundero 44mm tires, I weighed the bike and it was a little under 14kg, some 13.8kg plus or minus. My humble opinion - if you're not chasing watts and seconds, then it's a waste of noise. Thanks to the more comfortable seat and pleasant gearing, I enjoy riding much more than on the old gravel bike.

Pseudo minuses - typically, the lack of new technologies such as solid axles and, in the case of the Microshift version, a square bottom bracket and mechanical brakes is criticized on the internet. So far, after riding 350km, I don't feel that it bothers me at all. The TRP Spyre C brakes brake adequately even with my spring 100kg, although of course it cannot be compared to hydraulics. According to the internet, their performance can be significantly increased by using Galfer pads. After I get these out of curiosity, I will try them. As for QR axles - I have already taken the wheels off several times and if you play with it a little while putting them on, they fit and there is no need to center the caliper every time, so I wouldn't take it as a tragedy....

A wonderful bike for relaxed gravel riding, cruising, commuting, or even for short or long tours. Also suitable for easy terrain. If there's a bike for everything, then this is it.
