The Park Tool PT-BBT-179 puller is a robust tool, made of precision-machined 4140 steel, designed for the removal and installation of selected threaded bottom brackets with a 12-tooth clamping profile. Its extra-deep body is adapted for extra-wide axles, and the low-profile walls allow access to the recessed circlips. Integrated threads provide increased stability when used with the Park Tool BBT-RS mounting system or GPS-1 guide pins.

  • Made from precision machined 4140 steel
  • Designed for 12-tooth threaded bottom bracket clamps with an outer diameter of 45–47 mm and an inner diameter of 44 mm
  • Compatible with bottom brackets such as SRAM® BSA DUB®, Race Face® Cinch®, Rotor® BSA30, Zipp® Vuma™ and Hawk Racing™ BB3086™
  • Extra deep body for extra wide axles
  • Low-profile walls for recessed circlips
  • Three clamping options: 3/8" square, 1" hex and 36 mm flats for wrench
  • Integrated threads for use with Park Tool BBT-RS mounting system or GPS-1 guide pins
  • Outer diameter at the point of engagement 50.04 mm
  • Internal depth of the compartment 42 mm
  • Inner diameter of the space 30.44 mm
  • Not intended for use with impact wrenches
