Wheel adjustment kit for tubeless tires
The Muc-Off Ultimate Tubeless Kit contains everything you need to build two wheels ready to go tubeless and ready to go.
Each kit includes: Muc-Off Tubeless Rim Tape, Seal Patches, 2x CNC machined black tubeless valves and 2 bags of Muc-Off No Puncture tubeless sealant.
Manual:
1. Remove any old strip or tape and clean it.
2. Make sure the edge is clean and dry before applying the tape.
3. Take the tape from the packet and align it from the opposite side of the valve.
4. Start by unrolling a small amount of tape and pressing down with your thumb or finger to hold it down.
5. Continue to hold while you pull the tape off and stick firmly, once you have a few cm on the tape the tape will stick and holding is no longer necessary.
6. Continue all the way around the edge (if it has a large concave layer, you can pull and rewind the tape to fill all the edges)
7. Overlap the tape by approximately 10 - 15 cm.
8. Leave a small amount unstuck so you can cut off the rest
9. After cutting out the outline and pulling the tape down, create a seal
10. Run your thumb around the edge and make sure there are no air pockets or dirty spots.
11. Once you are happy with how it looks, use a small pin to find the hole for the valve and cleanly pierce the tape ready for the valve
12. Grab your tubeless valve and remove the retaining ring and o-ring
13. Choose the right rubber seal for the rim tape and insert the valve into the rim
14. Install the O-ring and retaining ring to secure the valve (do not overtighten, as this may damage the rubber)
15. Remount the tire of your choice, taking care not to damage the tape (using tire levers, etc.)
16. Inflate the tire to achieve shape (you should hear a popping sound around the rim)
17. Release the air and remove the valve core using the spare valve cap
18. Grab the bag of sealant and shake it
19. Unscrew the cap and place the valve on the valve in the right position
20. While holding the bag, rotate the wheel down so that the bag is now upside down
21. Apply the sealant by rolling the bag down.
22.Turn the wheel back to the right and remove the bag
23. Reinsert the valve core and inflate to your pressure
