Muc-Off Ultimate DH/Plus Tubeless Kit
The Muc-Off Ultimate Tubeless Kit contains everything you need to set up two wheels tubeless and ready to ride.Instructions:
1. Remove all old tape or rim tape and clean it.
2. Make sure the rim is clean and dry before applying the tape.
3. Take the tape from the packet and align it on the opposite side of the valve.
4. Start by unrolling a small amount of tape and holding it down with your thumb or finger.
5. Continue holding down as you peel the tape off and press it on firmly, once you have a few cm on the tape the adhesive tape will stick and holding is no longer required.
6. Continue all the way around the rim (if it has a large concave layer you can pull the tape and stretch it to fill all the edges)
7. Overlap the tape by approximately 10 - 15 cm
8. Leave a small amount unpeeled so you can cut the rest off
9. After cutting off the excess and pulling the tape down, create a seal
10. Go around the rim with your thumb and make sure there are no air pockets or contaminated areas.
11. Once you are happy with how it looks, use a small sharp object to find the valve hole and cleanly puncture the tape ready for the valve
12. Grab your tubeless valve and remove the lock ring and O-ring
13. Select the correct rubber grommet for the rim tape and insert the valve into the rim
14. Fit the O-ring and lock ring to secure the valve (do not overtighten, you could damage the rubber)
15. Re-fit the tyre of your choice, taking care not to damage the tape (using tyre levers etc.)
16. Inflate the tyre to seat it (you should hear popping around the rim)
17. Deflate the tyre and remove the valve core using the spare valve cap
18. Grab the sealant pouch and give it a shake
19. Unscrew the cap and attach the valve to the valve in the correct position
20. While holding the pouch, turn the wheel downwards so the pouch is now upside down
21. Insert the sealant by rolling the pouch downwards
22. Turn the wheel back upright and remove the pouch
23. Re-insert the valve core and inflate to your pressure
