Ride without interruption with this tubeless repair capsule. It is lightweight, easy to use and is the perfect backup in case a nasty puncture cannot be sealed with sealant.
The solid and durable body made of CNC-machined 6061 aluminum serves as a storage for the plugs and the tool handle is coated with silicone for easy grip in all conditions.
The 2-in-1 tool made of hardened 304 stainless steel is both a needle and a reamer, and comes with 5x thin, 5x medium, and 5x thick plugs. It is compatible with all tubeless road, gravel, and MTB tires.
Instructions for use:
1. Identify the puncture site and remove any debris or the cause of the puncture.
2. If the puncture requires medium or thick plugs, ream the hole a few times with the knurled part of the tool. Ensure you use a 45-degree angle and pay attention to the inside of the tire to avoid damaging the tubeless tape or tire wall.
3. Select a plug - the largest size is intended for MTB tires, the medium for gravel, and the thin for road tires, but you can choose the most suitable one based on the size of your puncture. Firmly pinch one end of the plug between your fingers to flatten it. (If using a thin plug, thread it through the tip at the end of the tool, not the main larger groove).
4. Thread the plug through the groove at the end of the tool so that the plug is centered in the middle of the tool.
5. Locate the puncture, then insert the tool through the hole (at a 45-degree angle) until the plug is about halfway into the tire. Make sure the ends of the plug remain on the outside of the tire.
6. Slowly rotate the tool clockwise a few turns to twist the plug inside the tire, and slowly pull the tool upwards - the plug will remain in the tire and the hole will be sealed.
7. Re-inflate the tire to the desired pressure and you are ready to go (for road bikes, a maximum of 80 PSI is recommended).
8. Upon returning home, it is recommended to trim the ends of the plug so that at least 3-5 mm protrude from the tire (be careful when trimming).
Keep out of reach of children. The tool has sharp edges, so use it with caution. For road tires, it is strongly recommended to replace the tire with a new one as soon as it is safe, especially if you intend to use it with high pressure.
