The Trail Skins Air range focuses on lightness and breathability, optimizing the structure of the pads to maximize ventilation and keep the overall weight down.
The Trail Skins Air Knee Pad is constructed around the Pro-Shape 2.0 protector, inspired by the geometry of auxetic materials found in nature, which expand simultaneously in all directions upon impact or stress, increasing the area of coverage.
The structure of the Pro-Shape 2.0 protector allows maximum flexibility and adaptability regardless of the position of the knee, while following its movements in all phases of activity. It absorbs 83% of the impact force and does not transfer it to the knee. 55% of its surface is completely open, which ensures ventilation and greater heat exchange during ascent. An ideal feature for riders who plan to do long rides even on the hottest days.
The knee protector remains stable even during intense activity thanks to a very long, transparent sock on the thigh and practical rubber at calf height.
The additional protector on the outer edges of the knee protector is designed to ensure protection even in case of sliding on the ground.
