We've built these shorts to meet Castelli's high standards for comfort and performance and added a few extra features to suit any riding surface.
What makes these pants special is the extremely durable Unlimited Lycra® fabric. It has a higher resistance to abrasion and tearing, while its elasticity, moisture removal, or your comfort are not unlimited.
We used double side panels as an old trick of track riders who wore two shorts and in the event of a fall the friction was transferred from fabric to fabric rather than skin. These pants aren't actually indestructible, but they greatly increase the chance that if you do fall on gravel, you'll just have to dust yourself off instead of having to buy a new pair of pants.
The second layer on the side panel also made it possible to create convenient side pockets, with a flap over the top to prevent the contents from falling out.
For added comfort on and off the road, there are two mesh pockets on the lower back to keep your gear close to your body to prevent it from bouncing around.
These pants provide longer life and more storage space without compromising on comfort - for unlimited fun.
