We've been riding gravel since before it became trendy, and we've always worn our regular Castelli jerseys.
The only complaint was that the occasional branch or vine managed to damage the delicate fabrics and after a few rides the jersey didn't look good.
That was what we aimed for with the Unlimited jersey. We've cut no corners when it comes to fit, comfort, moisture management and light weight. We used substances that provide additional protection against capture. The sleeves and shoulders are the most exposed and here we've used a stretchy woven fabric that fits great but is also extremely durable. The torso is closer to the traditional fabric used on jerseys, but better resists snags and Velcro.
We don't call it a gravel jersey because it's equally at home on the asphalt, but if you take it to your favorite trail, it's sure to be better than any other road jersey and better than most off-road jerseys.
