Fenix LD30 LED flashlight + USB battery 3400 mAh

Compared to the previously sold LD30 flashlight without a battery in the package, this product also includes one Fenix 18650 3400 mAh battery with a built-in micro-USB connector.

The Fenix LD30 pocket tactical flashlight offers a luminous flux of up to 1600 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 205 meters. It is one of the most powerful lamps for one Li-ion battery type 18650. In an emergency, however, the light can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries. The LD30 lamp has seven different lighting modes, which allow you to choose between high power and long endurance (up to 70 hours), there is also a stroboscopic flash mode and an SOS mode for crisis situations. The lamp is equipped with an indication of the battery charge status and is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (while they are gradually discharging). Thanks to the use of a unique super-thin collimator, it was possible to shorten the length of the lamp to only 10.9 centimeters. Thanks to the switching on with the end tactical switch, it is suitable not only for professionals, but also for everyday wear and a wide range of outdoor, sports and work activities.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use

To turn it on or off, press the end button, to turn it on immediately, hold the button. You can switch power levels at any time during operation by pressing the side button. To switch to flash modes, hold down the side button for about 1 second. This activates the strobe. With another short press, you can switch between strobe flashing and SOS. By holding down the button, the lamp returns to its original mode.

Protection against overheating - due to the dimensions of the lamp and the huge power in the 1600 lumen mode, the operation of the turbo mode is limited in time. After 5 minutes, the output gradually decreases to 1200 lumens over 80 seconds. If the internal temperature of the lamp rises to 55°C, it will automatically start reducing the output in gradual steps of 30 lumens every 6 seconds until its temperature stabilizes or drops to 400 lumens. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 55°C, the power will gradually increase again.

Battery charge status indication (functional only when using Li-ion 18650) - every time the lamp is switched on, the indicator LED in the side button of the lamp is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 25% battery capacity left.

Warning of exhausted batteries (functional only when using Li-ion 18650) - the lamp gradually automatically switches to the lowest mode and the indicator LED in the button starts flashing red.

Notice:

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.

• The manufacturer strongly does not recommend the use of Li-ion 18650 batteries without protective electronics.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.

• If the lamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, this could be one of the reasons:

  • The battery is almost empty - charge it or replace it.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The lamp head is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
