Fenix HT18 hunting light

The Fenix HT18 hunting light belongs to the tactical lights with the largest afterglow in the offer. Its massive reflector offers an afterglow of up to 925 meters and a luminous flux of up to 1500 lumens (ANSI). The light source is a high-performance LED XHP35 HI from the American manufacturer Cree. One Li-ion battery type 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh and a built-in charging USB-C connector (the battery is included in the package) is used for power supply.

The Fenix HT18 LED lamp has a total of five white light lighting modes with a duration of up to 61 hours, including stroboscopic flashing. There is a tactical switch in the rear part of the lamp that enables immediate activation by holding it down. In addition, a red and green filter is included in the package. Long gun mounts and Fenix AER-04 cable switch are compatible with the light. Fenix HT18 is a top light tool for professionals, hunters and all users who demand the longest possible afterglow and long-distance visibility.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

• One Li-ion battery 21700 5000 mAh is used for power supply (a variant with a USB-C connector is part of the package), in an emergency, one Li-ion battery 18650 can be used with the included reduction (with it, the maximum output is reduced to 1100 lumens).

• Intelligent protection against overheating: if the temperature of the lamp exceeds 65 degrees, the lamp will automatically reduce power.

The use:

To turn it on, press the main switch located at the end of the lamp, for immediate activation, hold down the button. You can switch between power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. To activate the stroboscope, it is necessary to hold down the side button for 0.8 seconds. After another short press, the light will return from the stroboscope to the original mode. The lamp remembers the last selected mode (only works for constant lighting modes).

Indication of the state of charge of the batteries - each time it is switched on, the indicator LED in the side button of the lamp is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 25% battery capacity left. (The indication works only when using Li-ion batteries 21700 and 18650).

Warning of exhausted batteries - the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode and the indicator in the side button will start flashing red.

Intelligent protection against overheating - if the temperature of the lamp rises above 65°C, it will automatically reduce the output in gradual steps until 800 lumens are reached. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 65°C, the power will automatically increase again to the original level. Operation at the highest power mode is thus not limited by time, but only by temperature.

Notice:

• Use only high-quality rechargeable Li-ion batteries with protective electronics.

• Insert the batteries with the positive pole towards the lamp head.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.

• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • The battery is almost empty - charge it or replace it.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The head, body or back of the lamp is loose, tighten them.
