The ESC safety system disconnects the struts if branches are caught between the spokes of the wheel, so that the wheel cannot get stuck.

I decided to add fenders to my "commuter" bike so I can go to work even in the wet.

As for the materials, I am very satisfied. The fender is made of solid plastic with metal brackets that hold the fender in place.
All installation material is included in sufficient quantity to support possible alternatives in the lengths of the connecting material.
The only drawback might be the assembly, as the fender is made in a universal size and needs to be adjusted (cut the brackets to the appropriate length). However, this is not a problem for an average person who owns a hacksaw. The rest of the assembly is easy and you will also receive clear instructions (although only in DE/EN), but the pictures will help those who are less fluent in the language.
I am satisfied with the result, the fender holds firmly in place, without rattling or rustling...
I used this fender on 700x30c tires and they fit just right. On 700x35c they would be tight...
For the money, it's a good buy.
