Elite JET GREEN bottle, 950 ml, transparent
The new Jet Green drinking bottle has a body made of bioplastic based on sugarcane, which comes from sustainable cultivation of this material.
Bio-based plastics, obtained from renewable raw materials, significantly contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions during the entire life cycle of the product and during production.
Ethanol from sugar cane is used as a substitute for oil to produce ecological bioplastics that have the same physical and chemical properties as conventional plastics.

I bought the bottle as a replacement for the classic JET (NOT the green version) which started to cause an odor in the water after about 3 years of use. I told myself that if I had to burn the bottle with the water, I would rather use the one "made with a bio-based sugar cane", as the manufacturer claims for this GREEN version.
Automatically translatedWhen I unscrewed the bottle and took a whiff, I was surprised by a familiar plastic smell. I turn the bottle from the bottom to see if it's bio-plastic, don't throw it in the recycling bin, compostable or something like that and I was shocked. Recycling symbol 4 Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE). You can easily google what kind of crap this is. Exactly the same as the regular NE green JET. What's more, even the product number is the same, the only difference is the image of sugar cane and the "ECO" paper bag. In my opinion, this is a whole new level of fraud and madness! Change the printing, add a label on recycled paper, make an advertisement and sell the same product more expensive. Congratulations ELIT, you are the first reputable company I know of that has broken such a moral low point.
The bottle goes back.
