Yakima S47 inter-ski roof racks with an aerodynamic "wing" profile minimize air resistance, making them noiseless and having virtually no impact on fuel consumption. They are attached between the longitudinal rails and almost do not increase the overall height of the vehicle at all, while also being very inconspicuous, so they can remain on the car all year round without creating a distracting visual effect.
An integrated, covered T-slot along the entire length of the carriers allows for quick mounting of a wide range of accessories while eliminating the creaking noise that occurs with exposed slots. Assembly and disassembly are easy, all you need is an Allen key stored directly in the carrier foot, so you always have it at hand when handling the carriers. Additionally, the carriers do not require any additional mounting kit.
