The Yakima S27 roof rack is an aerodynamic wing-shaped carrier system that minimizes air resistance and thus driving noise. The rods end directly in the foot, so the entire system looks very compact and elegant on the vehicle. Thanks to the patented SmartFoot, the carrier is ready for installation on various types of roof structures, after adding the appropriate Yakima mounting kit.
The integrated T-slot for mounting accessories is covered along its entire length from the inside, regardless of whether accessories are mounted on the carrier. This eliminates the typical whistling noise caused by air flow around the open groove and the ride remains comfortable and quiet.
