The Thule ProRide 598B is an innovated version of the most popular Thule ProRide 591 bike carrier. Thanks to the unique design of the frame holder and wheel grooves, it keeps the bike in place during mounting on the carrier. The Thule ProRide 598B is available in black.
The Thule ProRide 598B bike carrier is ideal for carrying all sizes of men's, women's or even children's bikes with maximum safety. Its solid construction can also handle mountain or downhill bicycles.
Handling the Thule ProRide 598B carrier is much more comfortable thanks to the self-adjusting frame holder. You fasten quickly and all securing elements are at the height of the roof racks. When mounting, you place the bike on the aluminum frame, lift the frame holder in place, turn the tightening crank so that the frame is sufficiently secured, fasten the wheels with quick-release straps and you are ready to go.
The added advantage of the Thule ProRide 598 carrier is its self-adjusting holder equipped with a torque tightening, which adapts to the bicycle frame and, thanks to the rubber surface, does not damage it in any way. The torque wrench alerts you when the frame is securely attached.
Assembly is safe and comfortable, the bike is protected against the possibility of falling.
The wheels are secured in the grooves with solid quick-release straps.
Thanks to the simple assembly without the need to use tools, it is possible to move the carrier from one side of the car to the other.
The maximum weight of the bike is 20 kg.
Adapters for mounting the carrier in a T-slot (20 x 20 mm) are included in the package.
Two locks are used to secure it, one to lock the bicycle to the carrier and the other to lock the bicycle carrier to the roof carrier.
Thule ProRide 598 meets TÜV and City-Crash tests.
