Ortlieb Handlebar is a unique waterproof bikepacking bag for handlebars, it is the perfect choice for bikes with ergonomic handlebars. A handlebar bag plays an important role in bikepacking.
It offers a waterproof environment for the sleeping bag, mat, clothes, etc. It also ensures proper weight distribution throughout the bike. The Handlebar-Pack can be attached to different types of handlebars and additionally supplemented with an Accessory-Pack. In addition to all of this, it is possible to attach additional equipment via the external tightening straps. Thanks to the rollable closing system on both sides, you can always get to your things easily and quickly.
The attachment to the bicycle is ensured by massive and durable Velcro fasteners and also inserts so that there is no excessive bending of cables and tubes. In addition, the entire bag can also be pulled to the head tube, which will ensure the much-needed stability in the field. All this also applies to carbon handlebars and frames.
The 9 liter model belongs to the compact category of bikepacking bags. Its width is only 40 cm, which makes it a perfect bag for bickles with ergonomic Salsa Woodchipper type handlebars, or with classic rams. Compared to its 15 liter sister, this bag is also significantly lighter.
A new release valve was added to the back of the bag to release excess air, and the buckles were supplemented with a "lock" that fixes the accessory pack against movement.
