Silica airgel was originally developed and used by NASA in its space program. It is characterized by a highly porous structure and low density, which create a thermal barrier eliminating cold and heat. Composed of more than 95% air, it is the lightest solid material ever developed and is also one of the most effective insulators. The developers of PRIMALOFT managed to find a unique way to integrate airgel into individual fibres. Thanks to this, insulation for outdoor clothing was created, which can handle extremely demanding climatic conditions without any problems. Cordura® material: Extremely strong, flexible and pleasant to the touch fabric. It is used to protect the part of the clothing that is most susceptible to wear and tear, without restricting freedom of movement.
