The second generation of the extremely powerful Fenix BC30 V2.0 bike light delivers a luminous flux of up to 2200 lumens (ANSI). For power supply, it is possible to use a pair of rechargeable Li-ion batteries 18650 with the positive pole exposed (18650 without the positive pole exposed in the lamp have insufficient contact), or four disposable CR123A batteries. The light source is two modern Luminus SST-40 LEDs. The lamp uses the proven technology of double direction of light 'Dual Distance Beam System'. The main cone of light is created by specially designed optics and shines up to a distance of 187 meters, while the secondary wide cone of rays completes the optical element, which is shaped in the upper part in such a way that the light directed upwards refracts down to the ground. This creates a cone that continuously illuminates the entire space in front of the bicycle - even in places that normal bicycle lights cannot cover. Compared to the previous generation, the bicycle light is equipped with a wireless remote control, which can be used to change lighting modes or activate Burst mode. The design of the holder allows quick assembly and disassembly of the light on the handlebars without the use of tools, the holder also allows quick removal of the lamp, so it can also be used as a high-performance hand light. The holder can be used for all handlebars with a diameter of 22 to 32 millimetres. There are a total of six digitally regulated power modes, including warning flashing, and there is also a warning about low batteries. The body of the lamp is made of aluminium alloy. The lamp comes with a remote wireless switch that can be used to change lighting modes and activate Burst mode. The wireless remote switch is powered by a CR1632 battery that lasts for approximately 360 hours of use. To turn on or off, hold the button for about 0.5 seconds. The lamp is always switched on in the lowest mode, you can switch to other levels of power at any time during operation by pressing the button. To switch to flashing mode, press the button twice quickly. If the lamp is switched on, modes can also be switched with a remote wireless switch. Burst mode is activated by pressing the button with the lightning symbol, other lighting modes are switched with the second smaller button. The lamp can be turned off by holding down the smaller button for 0.5 seconds. Before using the wireless remote switch for the first time, it must be paired with the lamp: Hold down the control button on the lamp for 5 seconds. The button will then flash alternately green and red, and the lamp will go out. Then press any button on the remote control and the lamp will light up again as an indicator of successful pairing. The distance between the lamp and the controller should not be longer than 1.5 meters during pairing. This process only needs to be performed once, the controller and the lamp are then permanently paired. With the light switched off, single click the functional switch to check the battery status. The indication can be turned on even when the lamp is off, just briefly press the control button and then the indicator LED lights up for three seconds. Note: the low battery indicator is adapted to the 18650 battery for proper function, it may not signal correctly when using disposable CR123A cells. Rotate the tail cap button according to the direction of the "OPEN" logo, and pull out the battery case. Insert the battery according to the polarity markings of the battery compartment. Insert the battery case into the light body, and after the battery case is flush with the light body, rotate the tail cap button in the opposite direction of the "OPEN" logo. Using a coin, open the back cover of the remote switch by turning it counter-clockwise. Replace the CR1632 battery. Pay attention to the correct polarity. Close and secure the back cover with a coin by turning it clockwise. The battery in the remote switch lasts approximately 360 hours of use. Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the lamp yourself, this will void the warranty. If the power button is red and cannot be switched to high power modes, then the batteries are dead and need to be replaced.
