The FD-R7000 front derailleur provides for ultra-smooth shifting. It flawlessly moves your chain up and down, without extra effort. The result is a shift that is precise and direct, with no delay.

Race proven performance: Shimano 105 2x11-speed Front Derailleur FD-R7000 Braze On

The front derailleur has a compact toggle (pivot) design, better tyre clearance and an integrated cable tension adjustment port (2-mm hex key) removing the need for an in-cable barrel adjuster.

Coming with the high-end aesthetic and race characteristics of its Dura-Ace and Ultegra big brothers, the new 105 series also considers that most riders will use their bikes for purposes other than competitive racing. 105 is Shimano’s first level 11-speed groupset for those who are seriously committed to road bike riding, but that definition now becomes broader with the inclusion of superior handling and adaptable control to master different riding situations.

Good day,

I have this skid on my new bike. I noticed on it that on the inside of the chain there are plastic contact surfaces on both sides of the slide (also visible in the picture). Should these surfaces touch the chain slightly when pedaling? I'm asking because it's set that way from the factory and it shifts beautifully, but I'm not sure if the chain is supposed to rub against the plastic surfaces even when I'm not shifting.

Žiaľ áno, Shimano to má takto vyriešené aj na vyšších radách. Vždy to bude trocha šúchať buď pri najmenšom prevodníku a najväčšom pastorku na kazete alebo naopak najväčšom prevodníku a najmenšom pastorku.

Pokiaľ ste mali verziu na navarku a k tomu prislúchajúcu objímku na rám tak bude sedieť. Ak sa jednalo o verziu ktorá má objímku tak táto objímka na tento prešmyk nebude sedieť.
